Munchkin has sensitive skin. Super sensitive skin. His skin itches day and night, the itching wakes him in the night and lack of sleep means he’s sometimes grumpy in the day. And now that he’s started full time school we’re even more desperate to find a solution.

Other than the prescription medications he’s had from our GP, laundry products are the next route to helping him, so when we heard about Surcare we were eager to try it out.

Surcare say “We promise not to put anything unnecessary into our products that will irritate your sensitive skin. No enzymes, no dyes, no acids. None of that stuff that other brands seem to think is okay for something that’s going to go next to your skin. Not even perfumes. Even if they’re the nicest smelling scent in the world, Surcare laundry products will stay completely fragrance free and suitable for sensitive skin

The product is non biological, fragrance free and dermatologically tested, which means that Munchkin’s skin is much happier since we’ve been using Surcare.

And although we wash Munchkin’s clothes separately from the rest of the family (without softener) I also used Surcare to wash clothes worn by our teenage boys. It performed even better than our normal detergent, removing all the stains and odours effectively.

Surcare ticks another box for me; because it is fragrance free, the softener I use on the rest of the family’s laundry really lingers instead of fighting with another scent.

The product range is fantastic – capsules, powder, liquid detergent, gel and fabric conditioner (although my personal favourite is the capsules as I know I’m using exactly the right amount for the wash).

*DISCLAIMER – we were sent a 10 wash bag of capsules for the purpose of this review, but all opinions are my own and I’ve since been buying this product as it really is this good!*
