In the sixdegreeofharmony house, we have a Christmas tradition of opening a parcel each on Christmas Eve.

And it’s always pyjamas.

When the teens were little, we would then bath them, get them in to their new nightwear, set out the plate of goodies for Santa and settle them into bed. But now the teens scuttle off and we go through our routine with Munchkin.

Mr six buys my pjs so that I have a surprise when I open my parcel. Usually they are pjs that he’s picked up whilst out shopping – but this year I shall be pointing him in the direction of Blackspade Noir, an online store specialising in bedwear and underwear.

The collection features natural fabrics which allows them to drape and hang beautifully, and offers the comfort needed in a nightwear product. This sounds perfect for me as I have very sensitive skin and real problems getting comfortable and falling asleep. They say  that:

“this year Blackspade have gone one step further with the development of the brand and following a collaboration with UK designer, Julie Robb, have produced a collection with a unique flavour that emotes the feeling of warmth and comfort, with a special attention to fit and detail and a genuine love of design”.

You can see here in the pyjama set

and again in the nightdress

that comfort certainly hasn’t quashed style. The lace trim on the collar and cuffs makes these incredibly feminine. The pyjamas really look good.

The men’s collection features stylish lounge pants made from the same modal/cotton blend and features no labels to irritate the skin, as all information is heat sealed onto the garment. And I’m sure that if Mr six remains on Santa’s good list, he might be going to bed on Christmas Eve in a pair of these!
