Our boys don’t really have sugary drinks. I buy sugar free cordials and the boys dilute them well. We have pure fruit juices but always add water to reduce the natural sugar content – so when I heard about Simplee Aloe juices, I couldn’t wait to try them.

Aloe is renowned for its health properties; detoxing, supporting the immune system, lowering cholesterol, aiding digestion, packed full of vitamins and minerals, Simplee Aloe have added fruit juice and vitamin C to make a refreshing drink.

Available in two flavours: Apple & Mango and Grape & Lemon, they are made with 35% aloe and not from concentrate.

My boys couldn’t wait to try them!

First we sampled the apple and mango.

The juice looked lovely and sunny and smelled really fruity. This was a definite hit with all three of my testers! They loved the sweet taste and asked for seconds. The aloe makes it a slightly mellower drink than regular fruit juice and much more palatable.

Then we tried the grape and lemon.

The juice was a peculiar colour which did look a little off-putting, but it smelled lush. It had a much more subtle, less sweet flavour – which one of my boys preferred.

Simplee Aloe is comes in two sizes, 1 litre and 330ml ‘Grab & Go’ and is available from Asda, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Ocado.
