It will come as no surprise to regular readers, that when I was offered the opportunity to review some cookie cutters, I jumped at the chance. With full time school beckoning for Munchkin, I will be desperate for more creative ideas for healthy lunch boxes.
The Yolli website is fabulous – it’s a baker’s delight! With cake pops, sticks, melts, chocolate moulds and more, you could easily lose a few hours making a wish list.
My wish list contained a gingerbread man cutter, a ‘mouse head’ a duck and some numbers.
What I loved about these, apart from the cute designs, is how easy the are to use. Some of my cutters hurt my hand as both edges are really sharp. But the Yolli cutters have rounded edges. They also feel really substantial as they’re made from quality brushed stainless steel. They’re also an absolute bargain – £1.49 for the individual cutters and £4.99 for the set of numbers. They’re also multifunctional as apart from biscuits (or sandwiches and fruit as was my original thought) they can also be used to cut fondant, sugar paste, pastry bites or icing!
